Everyone is on the go and we want our electronics to be able to do the same thing. That is why the new Acer netbooks are perfect for us on the go individuals. Not only is it half the size of a normal laptop but its convenient to take literally anywhere with you. With Acer you have the ability to pick between a 9-11 inch netbook and various colors as well. There is no cd/dvd rom so make sure that you get a USB stick with it. You can usually find one right around the netbook or order one online with your order.
The operating system is Linux or Windows XP. Either system is easy to use and the tutorial is great. They chose those systems because they don’t take up allot of room on the hard drive. It uses a Atom Processor ( made just for it ) Acer makes sure that it also created this little beauty with the display of the other laptops. It uses something they call the Color Brite. This makes the screen colors literally pop out at you.
Usually you can find it with a 160 g hard drive and a multi reader for SD cards. There is an Ethernet port as well as a wireless router. Like you said there is a choice for your color as well. You have a choice between Sapphire Blue, Seashell White, Diamond Black, Ruby Red (the red is my favourite) the battery can last up to 7. 5 hours depending on the amount of cells in the battery. The key board is of course a little smaller but that is ok because you don’t even notice after a little while. As well like with any Acer machine you get some cool programs.
Microsoft Works ( full version )
Recovery Management Software.
Windows Live Essentials, just to name a few of the many for you.
If you order online you can also purchase some extras for it. You can get a protective/carrying bag, additional batteries, external hard drives; again these are just to name a few for you! As for the warranty, it is covered for the regular 1 year manufactures guarantee and you can always purchase more from the Acer website or from the store you purchased it at.
I think that it is a awesome machine and affordable. Most of the time you can find them running between 2-4 hundred dollars. Just look at where you are going and make sure that you cant get it cheaper a few doors down. Make you sure your research your warranty as well.
