This morning, Massachusetts residents who tried to log into the Mass Save rebate website, www.masssave.com/residential, discovered that the Masssave rebates website was down. That hurts. Within a few hours, the Mass Save website was migrated over to a new server and web address, and Masssave rebate reservations could be made again. Funding for the Mass Save rebates program is limited, so it may be worth getting payday loans no credit check to ensure you get your Masssave rebate.
Masssave rebate online application was down
The Mass Save rebate system operates on the basis of rebate “reservations”. The masssave.com/residential website crashed at about 10 a.m. on April 22, just after rebate reservations were supposed to begin for the Mass Save program. After the website crashed, the Mass Save agency set up a mirror Masssave website where reservations for the rebate can be made. The Mass save program will most likely run through the allotted budget very quickly, like many other state appliance rebate programs.
Appliances that qualify for the Mass Save rebate
Mass Save is a program set up to help homeowners replace inefficient appliances with Energy Star rated new appliances. Depending on the fridge, dishwasher, freezer, or clothes washer that you purchase, you could get back between $ 50 and $ 250 from Mass Save. You have to provide documentation that your old appliance was hauled away for recycling in order to get the Mass Save rebate – which you can only get if your new appliance is delivered.
Claiming the Mass Save rebate program money
If you want to claim a Masssave rebate, the first step is reserving your Mass Save reservation number. Get the Mass save reservation number at either www.masssave.com/residential or at the Mass Save mirror website, or call 877-627-9271. A waitlist will be created for all those who would like rebates, but do not get reservation numbers before the funding runs out. If you are placed on the Masssave refund wait list, unused “reserved” refunds will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. Once you’ve got your Masssave appliance rebate number, you can purchase an appliance using your own funding or no fax loans. Once you have the paperwork confirming your purchase of the new appliance and the recycling of your old appliance, your paperwork gets sent into the Mass Save program, who then sends you a rebate.
