I don’t know about you but a clean washer machine settles my worries of mildew and mold development, not to mention future damages to my washer. However, while clothes washing in a highly upscale washer is as easy as ABC, the maintaining and cleaning it is not as easy.
This is particularly true when you are utilizing front load washers. In contrast with top load washing machines that flush water out seamlessly because of its convenient built, front loaders are not manufactured in a similar way. When your front load washer is left uncleaned, it will definitely form mildew and mold. I have not even gone through the problem of stench yet!
But there is no need to pull your hair out with this washing machine dilemma. Manageable steps to clean washer machine has already been laid down for you:
Step Number 1: Clean the outside part of the washing machine first by [wiping:mopping] it with a soft cloth so that it will not scratch the surface of the wsaher and clean it with a gentle solution of soap. The soap should not include bleach of any kind.
Procedure 2: Make sure your washing machine retains its original glory by putting appliance wax to prevent abrasions and scratches. You must clean it using only a soft cloth.
Step 3: For the inside of your washer, run the hot water cycle and combine it with little bleach. Don’t go overboard with bleach. Use the bleach to kill the harmful microorganisms that unsuspectingly flourish in your washing machine.
Procedure 4: Make sure all the water is drained properly after doing the previous method. Using a dry cloth, dab the inside clean and let the air seep in to dry the moisture left.
Method 5:While you are airing it out, clean the lint filter, bleach dispenser and the fabric softener dispenser. Use only a damp cloth in cleaning the [dispensers+fabric dispenser and bleach dispenser] and not a laundry detergent as it may leave behind residues that will interact with your bleach or fabric softener the next time you use your washing machine.
Procedure 6: If there are mineral deposits building up in your washer, do not use vinegar or other similar acid-based cleaning agents right away. It is best to contact the manufacturing company first or go over the manual to find out what should be done with those mineral deposits.
Procedure 7: Get rid of any grime build up trapped in your strainer after using your washer. Use a damp cloth to take out the dirt and grime build up. The whole washing cycle will work better if nothing is blocking the strainer.
Make sure your cleaning ingredients are not harsh to the steel in the interior of your washing machine. It is preferable to call customer service and seek for advise on the best cleaning agent to utilize.
